To correct backlash you can either use smaller or larger pinion gears or smaller or larger Andrews cam gears. Note: See 503768 (.108\") and 503769 (.105\") cam gauge pins to measure cam gears and pinion gears. Note: To determin if you need a 70-E77 or a L77-84 model Shovel cam gear? Measure the outer diameter of the cam gear on the camshaft that is to be replaced. The 70-E77 cam will measure approx. 70mm.
